Jane E. Ohaver is the founder of the Law Office of Jane E. Ohaver, P.C.

frameMs. Ohaver began her practice as an associate at a firm in Peoria, Illinois, and after five years, was promoted to partner.  While there, she was involved in business, real estate, estate planning and probate law matters. In 2001, Mrs. Ohaver left the downtown Peoria firm to establish her own private practice, the Law Office of Jane E. Ohaver, P.C. located in East Peoria, Illinois. In late, 2006, the law practice moved to their present location at 245 NE Perry Avenue, Peoria, Illinois.

Ms. Ohaver concentrates her practice in the areas of business, estate planning, probate and trust law, with a heavy emphasis toward commercial and residential real estate transactions and real estate development. Her legal clients include a diverse representation from private individuals to large companies.

Professional Activities and Achievements

Ms. Ohaver is a member of the Peoria County Bar Association, as well as its Real Property Committee and the Estate Division of its Courts & Procedures Committee, Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Illinois Land title Association and Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association.

Education and Community Activities

Ms. Ohaver graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1991.

A native of Farmington, Illinois, Ms. Ohaver is a member of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce and East Peoria Chamber of Commerce.  She currently serves on the City of Peoria Designated Zone Organization and is a board member for The Center for Youth and Family Solutions.  She has previously served on the boards of the East Peoria Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Peoria Area Community Events (PACE).  Ms. Ohaver regularly conducts volunteer legal services for other organizations including the Central Illinois Chapter of the Interfaith Alliance and The Center for Youth and Family Solutions.   She is married and lives with her husband in Peoria.
